The Wood County CASA Program is looking for actors!
The Wood County CASA Program is looking for young actors for some promotional videos. The Wood County CASA Program has volunteers who work with and interact with children who are victims or neglect, abuse, or dependency. Basically these volunteers meet with the kids every month or more, and interact with them through talking or playing a sport, anything like that. or the promotional video we are hoping to get maybe 1 to 3 young actors who may be interested in participating in some short, no recorded dialogue scenes, where they are depicted interacting with a volunteer. This would be a great opprotunity for young actors who would like to try working with film acting. Here is a more detailed look at the age range and how many actors they would need:How many students – 3 max

Age range – Anywhere from 10 to 18

Gender preference – Male (The point of this current promotional video is to appeal to males in Wood county to try and get them to be volunteers, since there is an abundance of women volunteers. Typically in the program they have found more success in pairing male volunteers with male youths, so we are going to try and depict more males throughout the video to spark an interest).

Location – Still in the works, hoping to have that secured within the next couple days. There will be probably 3-4 locations, with each youth actor at one. One being the inside of a home, the outside of the home such as a front yard depending on the weather, possibly a park depending on the weather, and a classroom.

Approximate Length of Time Commitment – 3 hours MAX. I know people have busy schedules, and especially with youth actors I know they are dependent upon someone else bringing them to places. I would hate for it to last 5 hours, but sometimes lighting gets tricky. The outdoor scenes will probably be a lot shorter. The indoor scenes are the only ones I can see taking longer. My goal is to have people in and out in 3 hours.
