| Spirits come out to play tricks on humans during Midsummer Night’s Eve in this adaptation of one of Shakespeare’s greatest comedies. Shakespeare’s poetic verse is brought to modern-day New Orleans during Mardi Gras, which – like summer solstice celebrations – is also a time of reveling. Three very different love stories weave together to reflect on the nature of love and to prove the adage that “the course of true love seldom does run smooth”. | |
